In 2000, after picking up his first pair of Numark direct drive turntables for 200 dollars off of a friend, I had no idea what vinyl was all about.  As a matter of fact, I did not even know how to lower the needle down to the record.  I tried to play a record by balancing it up on a 45 adapter.  Needless to say I’ve made some progress.  After months of selecting records and countless hours of practice I felt I was truly beginning to understand the art of beat matching and mixing.  I made one mix to listen to and hear what exactly I sounded like, It was NOT pretty.  Tracks were off tempo, tracks were thrown in at wrong times, tracks were didn’t sound right together and it was an over all bad mix.  But the thing that I have learned from that experience is that you need to step back and look at the big picture and follow the flow of a mix.Being apart of the scene is essential, so I would hang around the record store and talk to people about music and where the better clubs are located.  SuperDance, Gramaphone, Another Level, and Mix-a-Lots were always places to find me hanging around.  DJing is always apart of my life, so in a local community college I continued a student club called the “1200 club.” While running the 1200 club many local Djs got to interact with each other and plan events.Traveling city to city and country to country, he has heard the different styles and tastes of electronic music and the scenes.  Northern Germany to Toronto House music lives in its many forms and I want to be there to keep it alive. I am currently a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a BA in Audio Production.  After releasing more than a dozen mix cds, Fans constantly email me for mixes. Larger mixes include : Phunction, Philter, Bloodshot, Electro Acid, Deep House Connection vol. 1, Hardstyle Revolution, Electro Dubs, The Classics, Electro Clubs, Deep House Connection Vol.2. With so much good music to be mixed there is always a new one coming out.I’ve has played events along side with Djs such as Dj Bz, CZR, Accomplis, Hytek, Mr. Eyez, Dj Revo, System 32, Live Wire, Filthy Liar, Daddy Oh, Kitch, Ras-D, Dave Zim, Clark Kent, Peter RDTH, Tim “spinnin” Shomer, and Louie D. Club venues include: Mission, Bourbon Street, ShawdowBar, Stage 83, Kosmos Klub, Xcala, Rogs, Zentra, and countless private parties.
