My site has been up for about a month now and I have already received a few emails about my arch nemesis: “Phiction”… He’s a breakbeat DJ from West Virginia or some other southern state.  He’s got stuff up on Beat Port and its pretty damn cool.  I figured since we were so far apart that we would never have a problem with a name mixup or misinterpreted showings on flyers.  Thanks to the interbutts people in Tokyo can google Phiction and think we are the same person.  I don’t know who came first or who will stick around longer, but I know that I like my name and would like to keep it.  Maybe we could mess with the spelling even more, like Ph1ction or Phicti0n.  If I were to spin breaks the name would have to go but luckily for me and my fans (friends) that might be the only type of music I don’t spin.  Let’s see… House (check) Techno (check) DnB (check) Hardstyle (check) Trance (not at all).  Looks about right, ha!
